My Christmas 2011

I have been thinking about what I should write for my post about Christmas for the past few days.
My original post was filled with disappointment in the Christmas season.  For the entire month I have tried and tried to get into the "Christmas spirit" but it seems like nothing had been working.
As I write on this Christmas Morning I am feeling that warm and fuzzy feeling that most feel on Christmas.

After spending time with my family over the last day and a half I am feeling the love that was bestowed among us citizens of earth so many years ago.  A love that was given to us the day that Jesus was born.  A love that we can feel, a love that makes everything else feel right.
Without the birth of Jesus we would not have this love.  This is a love that goes far beyond the love of a brother or a sister, although those types of love are represented within it.  a love that goes far beyond a mother or a father, although those types of love are also represented within it.
This love was birthed one night in a barn with the farm animals.  this love was laid in a manger, wrapped in swaddling cloths.  this love lived a perfect life showing us the perfect way to live.  this love gave His own life so that we may truly live and experience His love.
Jesus of Nazareth, The Son of God, The prince of peace, the pure and spotless lamb that was slain.  This perfect Love is represented today and is alive in the hearts of all who accept Him.

Today I pray this Love will be felt within your hearts and that this love will be shown among everyone everywhere.
