I forgot Jesus.

Over the last few weeks, I have been made aware that I have placed very little thought on Jesus.
The Bible says that Jesus is our pathway to The Father. Jesus is the Name that brings us healing and freedom. My prayers have focused on The Father and The Holy Spirit but have left Jesus out of the mix. I have invited the Holy Spirit into the church services and worship events I lead but I have not invited Jesus. Today, and for the rest of my days, I focus on my Brother. Today I thank Jesus for the sacrifices He made for my salvation, for my healing, for my life. It is Him that I live for.

I recently heard that our tithe goes to Jesus. He is the high priest in heaven and, as it was in the old testament, the tithes we bring to the church go to the high priest, Jesus. I am being made aware that Jesus is everything, We have nothing without Jesus. Without Jesus we have the law, we have separation from The Father.

I pray that I would focus on Jesus. I pray that I would be reminded of Him always, that I would see Him through all the prayers and all the songs and all the proud words I speak.
